Meet the team - William!

Sunshine 4

As a recent Business and Management graduate from Glasgow University, William found that his true passion lay in the more specialist area of digital marketing.

William joined Sunshine originally as an Intern back in November and after wowing the team with his enthusiasm and eagerness to learn all that Sunshine has to offer; he was given a full time position as a Digital Marketing Executive.

William works very closely with several team members to cover all aspects of client activity. His main accounts to date are Rove Travel and Argento, where he deals with the clients directly and also handles content creation.

Now time to get to know William a little better.

What’s your favourite thing about working at sunshine communications?

I love the small and intimate working environment that occurs within a small team. I know its cheesy but it genuinely is like one big happy family with everyone willing to help each other out, which I find incredibly refreshing in a competitive business sector such as marketing.

What’s your favourite quote?

“This is the real secret to life. To be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work. Realise it is play.”

Alan Watts

I know it is a little wordy, but I feel it is important that people live their lives to the max and enjoy what they do. Too many people these days just float through life without truly loving what they do and I for one find that very sad.

What’s your favourite Social Media platform?

I am going to have to be boring and go with Facebook. I realise it is the obvious choice but that is not always a bad thing, as the old saying goes “why fix it, if it ain’t broke”. Facebook is the perfect tool to allow me to keep in touch with old friends who have moved to foreign shores as well as keeping up to date with all the latest news and gossip.

When I’m not working you'll find me at….

Rolling about on the rugby field or, slightly more happily, sitting on the couch watching the football with a cold beer. I have recently tried my hand at languages and am currently learning Spanish.

Where would be at the top of your bucketlist?

I am lucky enough to already be fairly well travelled and ticked off one of my main bucketlist destinations, Thailand, in the summer. However, as an avid adventurer my bucketlist doesn’t end there and recently Singapore has made its way to the top of my list.
