It’s been a busy few months at Sunshine HQ. So busy that I am only just getting time to write this blog as I travel back by train from the Highlands after a short break away. I must have needed some rest and recuperation after all of this…
New client alert
We rang the new client bell many times throughout June and July. We’re delighted to add Scotch Beef and Scotch Lamb, The Joshua Nolan Foundation, Hickory Food, Hickory Bars, Dunglass Estate and No Knives Better Lives to our client list. A nice mix of food/ drink and charity – three things us Sunshiners are very passionate about. We’ve also been pitching for some big players in the leisure and travel sector – watch this space!
New rays of sunshine
We’re super excited to welcome Chris Melvin to our team who’s joining as a Senior Creative and will be managing the growing creative team at Sunshine. Chris has been working at Lux for the past 2 years and is a man of many creative talents. He scored a 1st class degree in journalism and in the 4 years since leaving University, has become an expert in design, photography and multimedia product. Chris is going to take our content production to the next level.
This week we also hired our first Modern Apprentice, Natasha Gray, who dazzled us with her enthusiasm, passion, charisma and hard work ethic. Natasha is a raw talent and we are looking forward to seeing her become a digital marketing superstar. She’ll also be helping with office administration and making sure those all-important fruit bowls are a flowing. We heard she’s a good baker too…the requests are already in !
As lovely as our current office is, we’ve now outgrown the space. We’re not travelling far from the sunny shores of Leith, only two doors down in fact... The new office is bigger, brighter and shinier, allowing us more space for our growing team, client meetings and potential office dog that is in my sights!
Siobhan was promoted to Senior Account Manager! I’ve worked with Siobhan since I started Sunshine and she’s now become my right-arm and great friend. She’s worked tirelessly with me to help grow the business, retain clients and train new team members. I am delighted that she’s now been promoted to a senior member of the team.
It’s been a brilliant, crazy, slightly sleep-deprived few months, but I’m so excited to see what the rest of 2017 brings.
Hello Sunshine 2.0, we’re ready for you!
