Part of the team for 6 months now, it's high time we got a Meet the Team up. What...? She's been too busy writing for clients!

What’s your favourite thing about working at Sunshine?

The people. It’s such a positive, productive, supportive environment and that’s definitely down to the team. I’ve never met a group of people who can have so much fun together while simultaneously getting tons of work done – and doing it brilliantly!

What’s your favourite quote?

"Comparison is the thief of joy"

Theodore Roosevelt, apparently

This is something I’ve heard a lot in yoga classes, but I think it’s pertinent to life in general. We can’t help comparing ourselves to others – our looks, our lifestyle, our success – but ultimately, what others are doing doesn’t matter. We have to learn to prioritise our own journey and our own selves, and to cultivate a contentment with who we are and what we have. It’s much harder than it sounds, but I really believe it’s the route to happiness.

What’s your favourite social media platform?

Definitely Instagram. It’s the only one I use regularly for myself, and I love how creative you can be with it. I really enjoy seeing how individuals and brands use the different functionalities to create exciting, disruptive content, especially relating to important topics like politics and social justice. Social media is constantly evolving which makes our jobs here at Sunshine so interesting.

When I’m not working you’ll find me…

On a yoga mat! I trained to become a yoga teacher last year so occasionally I’m also taking the class. When I’m not in downward facing dog, you’ll either find me obsessively researching my next dream holiday destination, or eating and drinking my way around Edinburgh. Nothing makes me happier than a spicy pizza and a cold beer!

What’s at the top of your bucket list?

I’ve always wanted to learn another language, so that’s number one on the list. A close second, but probably trickier to accomplish, is to be a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Ru, if you’re reading this, I’m available ANYTIME!
